Last night's episode of That Show must have been so awesome it's left almost everybody speechless. That or everybody's keeping quiet out of deference to me. *thinks about it* Nah.
The ending of NuPris was unsatisfying, as it was more or less bound to be, but on its own terms, without comparisons, it kind of works. I see the very pretty youth playing Two's son is to have a significant role in the final Harry Potter films. I also notice (thank you Sky magazine) you almost had Tim Roth as Snape. A good reason for Rickman fans to be glad of Tim Burton's "reimagining" of Planet Of The Apes, which Roth went for instead. (Hmm...Matthew Hopkins in Witchfinder General was intended to be played by Donald Pleasence rather than Vincent Price, but American International insisted, and I think they were right.)
More housework. That's what I need.

It's Zander's journal, and I think he keeps hoping that someone will tell him "it's all changed, it's back being the show you loved and it wants you back". Or that he can find closure.
Zander still loves "Dr.Who", he just doesn't like what it's become (like Star Trek TOS fans who didn't like Next Gen ... and there were a lot of those at the time ... )
I have friends on LJ who had a romantic relationship end years ago, and still talk about "that woman". And in some cases I just skip posts when they start going on about how much she screwed up their lives or whatever the repeated moan is ... and for that matter, I've been dumped in the past and felt much the same way myself, though in nearly every case I've reconciled with the woman involved (there's one Australian ...) though in one case it took 20 years.

But I think reason has finally prevailed. I won't be expecting anything like that till the next change of Doctor/showrunner at the very earliest. And while I am still interested in what people think of it, even though I'm manfully trying not to watch it, I will try to mention it less.
