I've started it.
This is not an entry for NaNuNaNuWriMoTiddleIDo; I can't write that fast any more. But now it's started, I hope to continue with it. Besides, I want it longer than 50k words. I'm hoping Sam will help.
I won't be posting anything till I have at least a couple of chapters in hand, so there will be nothing new on Avevale this weekend. Next week--who knows, eh? Who...knows?
Wish me well.

But if you can, I would highly recommend seeing if there is a group holding meetings near you, and attend one of them if practical.
If nothing else, you might make a friend of someone local who you would not even have met otherwise. Or at least hear an idea which will blossom into a short story.
Having said the above, I will not be doing NaNoWriMo this year. My life is going through a particularly complex and difficult phase, and I won't have the resources of time, or probably energy either. Maybe next year.
In any event, good luck with the new book, and I look forward to the opportunity to read it in due course.
