Weird tech problem
Jun. 24th, 2013 02:50 pmThe laptop won't connect to the internet. It maintains, in tones of injured innocence, that the wireless adapter is working fine and it's all the cable modem's fault, but the cable modem is happily supplying internet to other devices in the house, as witness. Tried turning it off and on again (puter and modem), tried reconnecting, tried everything I can think of short of locating a network cable and plugging the thing in directly, which I just thought of and will do when I can, but which will only be a temporary solution because trailing wires and partially sighted Countesses don't mix.
Nonetheless! I am able to send out full copies of Oonaverse to everyone who wants one, and indeed have done so for several kind people who donated. Redundancy is a wonderful thing, and good too.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
And if anyone is still boggled by the Dracul bit, I shall be posting the conclusion later today.
