No, not on the oven door, but I've now put links to a bunch of old stuff on the Drabbles and Short-Shorts and Single Stories pages.

Also, we had adventures with light fittings, when the ceiling light in the living room bust and the bulb welded itself to the socket, and the fitting I bought from Lidl proved, on inspection by a qualified and very friendly electrician, to be faulty. As well as horribly fiddly to put up. So that's something else that needs doing. This is why I hardly ever do anything; it attracts the universe's attention and a whole bunch of stuff falls on me all at once.

And on we go.

Crikey, the light-fitting thing must be catching! Mine did that last week (well, not the bulb welding itself to the socket, but I've had that before on that socket - this time I stopped trying to get light bulbs in before it happened).

The light bulb thing happened to us too. The electrician put it down to us having a posh metal fitting on a system not designed for it. The replacement plastic fitting seems to be immune.
