Gruesome thought

I'm watching two animated paintbrushes in red spangly jackets prancing around the Tower of London* and thinking "I know who the next Doctor is going to be."

I mean, you can imagine the meeting. "It'll be great. There's two of them. We can save on production costs by shooting two scenes simultaneously, and it'll make those bits where he, you know, 'meets himself,' so much easier. They can pretend to act, and jump in the air and go WAAAAA with an explosion behind them, and they can look pouty and sulky when somebody, you know, 'dies.' And they've already got their look, and it's wacky and zany like, you know, an 'alien,' and by the time Matt goes nobody will remember who they were or what they did. And anyway, Ant and Dec are too old now."

I really shouldn't do this to myself.

*Not deliberately, I hasten to add. It was just on when I stopped obsessively rechecking the Stan Lee thing.

I almost don't care WHO a new doctor would be, Matt Smith has lost any appeal he had for me two seasons ago. Of course the seasons them selves didn't help, but perhaps a new Dr would be an improvement.
