Been catching up on Lawrence Miles, at http://beasthouse-lm2.blogspot.com (helps if I put in a link that works), and he asks:

"How much do you like Doctor Who? Or...how much of Doctor Who do you actually like?"

Well, I can answer this quite readily, since we've been rewatching realWho recently, everything we've got from The Seeds Of Death right up to Survival and the movie (no Hartnell, but that was Jan's preference, not mine). I can say with reasonable confidence that there isn't a single one of those stories that I wouldn't happily watch again, right now.

Conversely, I can't think of a single episode of Smith-era nuWho, and only odd episodes of the previous two, that I would particularly want to watch again, at all. Including last night's.

Make of that what you will.

Me too, though I do like Hartnell, and enjoyed Tennant's tenure, especially the specials, prior to series 4.

Not even The Doctor's Wife? Even prior to its receiving a Hugo (last night) I had that one pegged as worthy of the series, all times, all Doctors.

On the basis that a rumour is only true once it has been officially denied, it would appear that your prefernces have bene ehard:
