CAPTION: BUT IT'S NOT OVER
SOREN lies on a bed, deathly pale and still.
CESAR shouts in anger and tips over a table full of medical instruments.
ZANDER, grim-faced, enters the smallship airlock.
GALEN and PROBITY walk purposefully down a corridor.
Something EXPLODES in space.
PERVILIOUS SNOOD opens a desk drawer. Zoom in on the UGLY-LOOKING GUN in there.
A whole fleet of ships converges on RIDDING-GOAT. Some smallships, some VIGIL, and JENNY's pirate ship.
A pitched gun battle. ZANDER taps GALEN on the shoulder, leaps up and races through the crossfire.
AN lies bleeding. PROBITY leans over her, and AN smiles for her.
ZANDER stands in SNOOD's office, facing the man himself.
BLACKOUT. The following frames fade in and out in time to portentous DRUMBEATS:
ZANDER, looking furious.
ADHEMAR, looking scared.
GALEN, looking the way GALEN always looks.
VOLTIMAND, head bowed, in tears.
JENNY, looking stricken.
SNOOD, laughing.
SOREN, up and about, and pointing the UGLY-LOOKING GUN at the camera.
