Urgh

Original plan: get up early tomorrow, spruce and kempt and ready to travel, get into packed car, drive to Grantham for fun fun fun at the filkcon, arrive in good time. Current plan: get up tomorrow at some point, shower (both), shave (me), complete packing, ask next door neighbour to cat sit, go and get whatever it is I've forgotten to buy, probably have something to eat before we go because already running horrendously late, pack car, get into packed car, drive to Grantham et cetera, arrive hopefully before evening's programme ends. This, as a friend once said, would be something to aim for.

No battle plan survives contact with the enemy. In our case, the enemy is always time...

Have a lovely time. I wish I could go, but we have Stuff, sadly. This always seems to happen around Filkcon.
