It's not snowing, but it is raining quite hard and the impetus we'd built up yesterday has dribbled away, so we're bottling out. It looks as if the DC has cottoned on to the fact that men do not come to one's door with cheques for thirty thousand pounds. On the other hand, she does seem to have acquired a new bed.

We'll try it next week, assuming she stands by her intention of not going to Bradford.
