Lem-Sip All In One lemon menthol flavour does not taste remotely like a Silver Dragon. In fact, it tastes like utter crap.

Which means that I'm now going to have to go and buy something I can stand to help me with this cold.

LemSip now comes in tablet form, which is a lot less vile.

Yes, but I find the hot drink comforting.

I've been advised that taking cough mixture in hot water rather than "neat" is a better way of absorbing it, and it seems to work. Also makes quite a nice hot drink. Now use that to swallow the LemSip tablets, and you're there!
(Or have a nice cup of tea).

I really don't like the mentholated version: but I retain a fondness for "Polish lemsip" - Citronowska, Old Krupnik and hot water - to wash down the analgesic of choice....

Oops

You could try capsules. Lemsip Max comes in same. Then you wouldn't have to taste it at all.

Get well soon.

I'll do my best. Maybe if I get it over now I won't have it at the con.

My (ancient and battered) copy of Monster Manual isn't (bizarrely) at work with me, but I'm pretty sure they weren't supposed to breathe either lemon or menthol...

ETA: "Breath weapon: Cone of Cold, Paralyzation Gas", says Wikipedia. Someone had way too much time on their hands. On the other hand, it sounds like you already had Cone of Cold as a breath weapon ;-)

Different S.D. -- this a potable, create by the nightly Clement for yours truly :: equal parts lemonade, vodka and peppermint. Very cleansing of the sinuses but I never heard of it having menthol

Have I misremembered ? I *am*, after all, a somewhat older and greyer Nyrond than ever I was in those far-off days when you, Clement, and I (and occasionally St.Ana) used to cut the rug in the dives of Forhalbane ? Ah, those wild nights ! Oh, the people we met (and sometimes went home with )! Augh, the headaches the mornings after !!!!

When did I ever say that it did ?
