And another typical Moffat Moment; you invent an enemy of which part of the horror is that you can't talk to them or reason with them, and then you decide that that's a bit irksome, so you invent, off the top of your head, a way for them suddenly to be able to talk and reason, by co-opting, in some barely credible manner, the voice of one of their victims. Also notice that Matt Smith has now, at least by implication, done the "I am the DOCTAAAH!" moment from "Forests Of The Dead" (again). With any luck it won't work this time.

I did like the way the "spokesperson" kept all his original spoken mannerisms and emotional tone, though - as if frozen forever in that last moment of respectfully apologetic anxiety - instead of adopting the traditional, stilted, "alienese" patterns.
