Once again we have had to bail out of a convention at the last minute. I had resolved to get the Countess to Redemption this weekend, but then again when I registered I was hoping I'd have a job and a regular income by now, and Coventry is still a dauntingly long way to drive.

Bum. As it were.

I understand about the "long way to drive" part (particularly since she doesn't travel well), but would that be possible if the financial side (I assume hotel bill, presumably you've paid the membership already) were taken care of? Bah. Me too. Tim will be there in a work-capacity (playing the Ceilidh) but we can't afford for me or the kids to go, let alone hotel rooms.
