As suggested by
keristor, this post gathers together links to all the stories I have from time to time posted here.
Nyrond stories (EDIT: all co-written with
soren_nyrond, and I should definitely have mentioned that before--sorry, Soren)
The Silver Platter Stratagem
In which Soren pays the bill, Zander promises the moon, and the whole thing snowballs.
The Caesarian Operation
In which Zander takes to the arena, Soren takes to his heels, and a hellrat takes to both of them.
The Eight-Man Austin
In which eight Nyronds descend on one poor defenceless planet, and one of them is Tully.
Blake's Seven fanfic
Nyrond
The first appearance of the Nyronds in a finished story. In which Blake turns mind reader.
Powers: Of Life, and Death
A titanic effort at retconning the entire fourth season out of existence. Not sure it doesn't actually work.
Other stuff
As It Should Be
New to LJ, a story from Maleus Garamite, in which I take issue with one of the central elements of EVE Online, and win on points for style. Well, I think so.
Making The Best
Set in the D'niverse, this story starts from one of the "wrong" endings of Myst V: End of Ages, and takes a decidedly non-canon view of the whole thing.
The Sallow Man
The first complete story of Sir Tempest Convulsion and his friends. Set in a sort of Fieldingy-Peacocky past time that never existed. I hope to do more with these people.
Stickytape And String: Assignment One
The Sapphire and Steel story I've wanted to write since the last episode ended and I went "WHAT???!!?"
Tension
A story of Thandreling, the wandering bard, who started out as a D&D character and developed. Here he confronts his greatest fear (so far).
A Tale Of The Truesingers
Gestalt is a six-piece band from the Sagittarian Age. They feature in any number of odd snippets and unfinished bits. Before they were Gestalt, though, half of them were the Truesingers. This story, and the song contained therein, were partly inspired by what happened to the Dixie Chicks a little while ago.
Two Magicians
I came up with these characters and this setting in an effort to Write Something For Publication. Despite that, though, I still think they work. Antonio Banderas and Jake Rorschon star as Mordecai and Willibald.
I hope this post is helpful to those who know these stories, and interesting to those who haven't encountered all of them yet. I also hope to finish another story or two before I peg out.
