I have to confess that I really don't want to see a movie of Myst. For various reasons. I am however still hoping for sequels of the game and/or Uru.
Is that weird?

Well, no...but if you're thinking about a movie of the actual game, that isn't what they're doing. They're going to be filming one of the backstory novels, the Book of Ti'ana.
