This was a failure.
I'm making a note here - start again.
It's hard to overstate our disappointment.
So much for Gametap.
Destruction has come, and now we build,
For the good of all of us
Except the ones who don't care -
But there's no use bringing up our every bad choice.
We just keep on singing till we run out of voice,
We explore and we roam
And we make a new home
Because Uru is still alive.

I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though they pulled the plug and killed it
And shut down the Cavern
And all the new Ages that we found.
And now we must explore alone
Just like we did at the start -
But now these words I'm Writing make a beautiful Age
And it's so exciting just to turn a new page
And we're finding our way
To a shining new day
Because Uru is still alive.

Though some are leaving
I'd really prefer to hang around
Maybe we'll find someone else to help us.

Anyway the story's great.
It's so enthralling and deep.
Look at me still talking when there's Writing to do
When I read your posts it makes me glad I'm with you.
There are messages to run
There's Maintaining to be done
Because Uru is still alive.
And believe me it is still alive.
We're Writing Ages and it's still alive.
We've got the vision and it's still alive.
And while they're leaving our game's still alive.
And when they're gone it will be still alive.
Still alive.

There are some of us who believe in Uru's inherent worth. That it should exist not because it's a money maker, or because it's cool to play, or whatever. We see the dream, and we want it to be real, because it deserves to be shared on its own merit. We put time and energy towards it because we feel it is the right thing to do.
Snicker all you want behind your hands, but some of us still believe in beauty for beauty's sake. That things that inspire wonder are meant to exist come hell or high water. And that's something that all the snide comments and waving of business models can't take away. It's called 'faith'.
