Avebury

Fun trip yesterday with S and meeting up with R, marred only by my extreme fraughtness. I'm usually fraught to some extent, but this was worse and I don't know why. Jan was unable to get as far as a stone, but we visited the shops and ate at the restaurant formerly called Stones and resolved to come back sooner this time.

M left us yesterday morning to find domestic disaster waiting for her, and K took S on to Glastonbury last night. We were thinking of trying for the hat trick and going today, but I think we might be too tired.

And so our long anniversary party winds down. Thanks to everybody who came and made it so much fun, apologies to everybody who would have come had I publicised it better, and most especially (though she probably won't be able to read it yet even if she did LJ) love and thanks to my incomparable Countess for making my life...a life.
