Fun weekend

S, K and V turned up on Saturday, with added R, P and M on Sunday. There was music, though there's never enough and too much of it was me showing off, and there was food (I'm getting more reliable at producing the old roast chicken Sunday lunch) and there was watching of DVDs (Noggin the Nog, much to S's bemusement).
K brought his upright bass, which is a thing of beauty and made itself known to the entire terrace, and we have successfully restored Jan's father's violin, which is a nice one but will need regular tuning for a while. I can now play keyboards at a usefully audible volume downstairs. All in all, music-wise, we aren't doing too badly.
And today I took S and M to Stonehenge, which is always good. Avebury tomorrow.
