Making the Best--Epilogue

My dear friend,
If you receive this, then you have successfully returned to Myst and from Myst to K'veer. You know the way from there, I think.
Once again D'ni owes a great debt to an outsider, and Father's faith, and my own, are justified. Father was right--there is always more to learn. Destruction is sometimes necessary, but never when it springs from anger, hate or fear. The battle against evil is everyone's to fight for themselves. And there is, after all, virtue in the work of hands, in the small masteries of art and science. I was wrong to scorn those who sought to rebuild D'ni in their own way. We are all on the same path, it seems.
I regret that I shall never know my other self, the one who lived those long years of disillusion and betrayal and still found a way to hope. I am glad, though, that of all those who took my final journey and knitted the shattered Ages back together, one was found to set Releeshahn on a better course. There is, I now believe, no ending to be written, unless we who live write it. May the Maker guide our hands.
Yeesha
