Volvo cars: still driven by dummies. Oh, and their ignition keys are interchangeable.

Paging wildlife experts: in the current trailer for programmes on the Eden channel, is that diving fox genuine?

I've not seen anything quite like that before, but I know they can hear small furries moving around under snow. That one looks like it learned how to get through thick snow to grab a meal, which is a good survival technique, so I'd be inclined to think it's real.

If that's the one apparently leaping vertically into the air and then diving nose-down into snow, it's real. I've seen it on several wildlife programmes - they can hear the prey moving round under the snow, and they do genuinely stalk them from above then dive down to them.

Are Volvo still using the "so safe that if you crash you can walk (or even drive) away from it, pity about the other bloke" line? Or did that finally get rejected? There is an argument for making cars as dangerous as possible for the driver, so that they will drive carefully (have a spike out the centre of the streering wheel for instance), because if drivers feel safe they take more risks.
