Longer answer, I think the two guys balance one another out. Honest answer: I love, love, love Jon Anderson. Even his solo material. Even and especially his collaborations with Vangelis. 5. Do I believe in Death Metal? Yeah; it is out there. Do I like it? No. 6. No, I don't wish PG and Genesis would get back together. Gabriel's solo work was an important part of my young adulthood, and his song about leaving Genesis, "Solsbury Hill" is the answer I give to "What is your favourite song of all time?" 7. Mandolins? Yes. Bazoukis? Yes. Sitars? On the fence. ;) 8. I believe in Mike Oldfield, but not religiously. 9. Eight keyboards is not too many if you are Rick Wakeman. Eight keyboards is too many if you are Dennis deYoung. A keyboard with a drum machine attachment should never be given to KaTe, even though I loved Hounds Of Love. 10. Um, hasn't most decent rock music always come from Europe? Or at least the UK? 11. A folk singer should play an electric guitar if she wants to. I'm less interested in her if she is electric, but that's my bias. Then again, I loves me some Robert Fripp. 12. Depends on the venue. And never if you're in Spinal Tap. 13. The first revival of disco should have been called off. In fact, we could have avoided the whole thing, except that it gave us Cake's cover of "I Will Survive." 14. Yes, it is unfashionable. That doesn't make it not good. Yes, Yes, Yes. 15. I believe in air guitar playing. I once played Air Harp at a renaissance festival in the US. 16. Yes, I would burn a bootleg CD for a million dollars. Short of murder, some acts of treason, permanent disfigurement, betrayal of people I love, and having to interact only with Mean People for the rest of my life, there's very little I wouldn't do for a million dollars. 17. Either would make an excellent source for a concept album. If you want a great hopeful fairytale, go for Obama. If you want a death-and-destruction rock opera, McCain's your man. 18. Ih, judge me. ;)
