I've found often in the past that posts with major thought and big questions in get few responses, while discussions of comparative sweets, popcorn, whether my cat can see angels, and what to do with 20 diet coke cans garner literally hundreds. I think LJ readers mostly like "lite" *ugh* content. ;-)
