As of tonight, I have reached 16,874 words on my NaNoWriHoLoIFuWeTa project, which is 16,874 more than I would have done had I been planning to try and get it done in a month. I've done backing and filling, editing to fix typoes and obvious idiocies, and all the other things you're not supposed to do, and so far I'm happy with what I've written. So go me, to some extent.
I'm still not sure I can keep up the impetus, but if I can I think I might have something half-decent here.
I may post some chapters when I'm a bit further along. Be apprehensive. Be slightly apprehensive. :D

Date: 2007-12-01 05:21 pm (UTC)Given the amount you write anyway, I don't think that anyone (and certainly not me) have any grounds to be rude/sarky about your efforts. I tried NaNoWriMo in a moment of madness and did (overall) enjoy it.
Now the person who wrote 8,000 words, stored it for safe-keeping on a RAM stick, and lost the stick - them I feel I can laugh at.
As for apprehension. Hey, it CANNOT be worse than some of the tripe I wrote.
Hope you're enjoying doing it, that's what matters.
