There's still a fair amount of B7 fanfic out there - watervole is always on the lookout for B7 fic (there's a link to the fanfic site from her lj)
And some of us oldtimers much prefer fanfic with Plots and Characterisation and Real SF Stuff than all this Shipping (do they have proper 'Bills of Lading' I wonder?) and Hetting, and angsty/slashing.
I sympathise with the scanning problems - I face the task of turning a lot of mimeographed stuff into net-publishable form - not to mention WordPro.txt files on 5"floppy discs…
