Pro-later-today-ination

In the meantime, I have to get some of the stuff out of my head. In order to get rid of a thought I have to write it and let it out; otherwise it hangs around and gets in the way. And since I'm having to bite my metaphorical tongue more and more on this here internet, to avoid getting into "debates" that are actually arguments, it's a growing problem.

When secularists/rationalists/atheists/anti-religionists post on the net, they usually recycle one or more of a very few, very old arguments against--in particular--Christianity. (I don't see them posting about, say, how ridiculous Shinto or Hinduism are, or even Scientology, with nearly the same regularity.) So, here is proof of exactly how old those arguments are, and how little effect they have had in all that time, along with one man's answers to them, the man, of course, being G K Chesterton.

I had to reset Firefox this morning to get rid of some malware. I lost my FTP client, I lost my FTP client's settings (well, I still have them, but I have no idea if it's safe to restore them, or even how) and having gone back and found the original email they were in, I made too many stupid mistakes trying to re-enter them and now I'm locked out of Avevale.

I've emailed my webmaster in the hope that he can resolve the problem, but he's a very busy bloke and even more so this week, I imagine, so it'll be as and when.

Sorry about this. I can reveal that both the new chapters of Return To Argenthome have songs in them, one an old one of mine, and the other, as usual, specially written for this story. As soon as I can worm my way back in they'll go up, as will two more sections of A New Chapter. (Don't ask me about Mordecai. Again, as and when.)
