They insisted on being shot separately. Well, Rachel Kwok did. I think she thought nobody would notice her next to Marsha. I think she was mistaken.



She says her eyes always look like that when she gets photographed. And yes, she does seem to be hovering an inch or so off the ground. I asked her about that, but got no answer.

And now for something almost but not quite completely the same

A little thing I call "Ding-dong sur l'Herbe."



The story was that Frankie and Rachel Kwok had gone into town at Dracul's suggestion to see what they could find in the way of discarded vegetables. Wayne had wanted to go himself, and wasn't best pleased to find out he'd literally missed the bus; Dracul pointed out that he was hungry now. Harsh words were exchanged, at top volume, and a certain amount of steam was let off, while Marsha, Allie, Tilda and Dik watched.

Incidentally, eintx was quite right; Dracul is not that pretty in real life. His back particularly is not for the squeamish, though you do get used to it after a while. I don't know what he did to my camera, but as long as it just affects his image, I don't mind too much.
