Home Alone 2 - Feeling Better In Westbury
Aug. 5th, 2011 09:45 pmJust got back. As far as anyone knows, the op was a success, and Jan is pain-free and much more relaxed. They're keeping her in one more night to make sure, and I fetch her home tomorrow morning. Then begins the hard part--getting her to take it easy for however long the healing needs.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who sent good wishes and healing thoughts and prayers. Not to disparage the skills of the good people at the Bristol Eye Hospital, but I am sure they helped.
In other news, I have bought a dongle for the desktop up here, which meant I was able to catch up on the nyrond.co.uk emails--the laptop downstairs isn't set up for that account. This may actually mean I can see this machine on the network at long last! Connectivity!! Nya ha ha ha ha!!! It's mine I tell you!!!!
*ahem*
I think I need a cup of tea and then possibly bed. Thank you again, all.
