Oct. 15th, 2008 08:20 amToday we managed a little gardening, and ventured into the terra incognita (literally) of ericaceous compost, having discovered that some of the plants we had bought insisted on it. We also tried to dig over some of what had been soil topped with Cotswold chippings on landscape fabric, and is now a sort of concrete-by-default thanks to the garden-wrecking builders. I was glad when we stopped.
The house is a bit warmer with the concrete down in the conservatory. Hopefully this should improve further when the insulation and the screed are added. At that point I should have had some response from EverCRAPest.
And tomorrow something else is happening which currently escapes me. Doubtless it will emerge.
Goodnight, flist.
