I am almost fully recovered. I was a little chesty this morning, the first time I had gone to sleep lying down rather than sitting up, but it cleared. My best peak flow is now 650.

Thank you all for concern, helpful suggestions, and real and virtual hugs.

In other news, I got to see Narnia again today, and it's much more fun when you're not sitting there all tense waiting for them to mess it up.

The European UBI shop is now selling the full soundtrack CD of Myst IV - Revelation!!! And what a deal!!!!!

Please, please spread the word of this. If you know anyone in Europe who's been gagging for this soundtrack the way I have, if you know anyone who liked the LotR soundtrack and wants to hear something as good or better, please, tell them tell them tell them, because Ubi did not have any plans to do this and it may just be that they responded to me and others asking. Responsiveness needs to be rewarded.

This is gorgeous, passionate, beautiful music at an unbeatable price. Tell your friends.

The more I read Professor Zamorra the more aware I get that we are not dealing with quality lit here. Strictly first-draft stuff bashed out by someone who is probably working on six different titles in three different genres under twelve different names while simultaneously regrouting the bathroom and minding the kids. Ah, the heady days of the pulp era are not dead. The Spirit of the Badger lives on.

It is, however, an excellent source of Evil Overlord-type clichés such as this latest icon. A small no-prize to the first guess at its meaning from a non-German-speaking reader...

EDIT: Icon removed to avoid giving offence, and because (to use another EOC) it has served its purpose...
