Another Jan update

Jan is now in Southmead Hospital--they moved her today after all, though not till I'd been and gone. So now I have to bop to Bristol rather than Bath. Good thing I didn't spring for the weekly Bath bus ticket. On the positive side, the wifi thingy started working today so I managed to top up her talking books.

We don't know when they'll take her toe yet.

well, there's "toenight's the night", neil young,

the theme music to cliff michelmore's longrunning current affairs tv programme, "toenight",
"slaughter on toenth avenue" - but i dis-re-member by whom (? mick ronson?),
and likewise, "toe sir, with love" (? lulu ?);
- and i think even phil spector's teddy bears'd be ashamed of
"toe know,know,know (ledge) is toe lovelovelove (s/him/love/)
- or extend the thrid "love" over the three running notes)"...
- "jan's toe in aspic" has a whole albumful of possibilities (not sure if i need to apologise to king crimson or not);
- and family's "drowned in wine" holds an idea worth hanging ontoe
(- though in the real worm, i'd recommend preservation in strong spirits
