Lulu and music, and a QUESTION.
Aug. 25th, 2011 12:10 pmIt was borne in upon me the other day that the problem with Lulu shipping is often to do with ordering a CD, because they are only made and shipped from the States.
This will resolve itself shortly, because as previously reported Lulu are stopping doing CDs, but it does leave a gap for people who want my music (fools) but don't like downloading. I can understand that myself (there's a post about it in Passionate and Confused, out now at a computer near you folks) but I'm not sure what to do about it. Bandcamp don't as far as I know produce the shiny beermats, and while I can do it on an individual basis it would be nice to have a proper product with a label and a little book and everything.
So. Is there anyone in the UK who does PoD CDs, or am I going to have to find a duplicator and order a thousand (all right, a hundred) of the things? My Google fu is failing me--I've found a number of sites, but nothing about how actually to get started (or how much)...
