Apology

I recently said some things in public that should have been said in private. Whether those things were true or not, this was stupid, insensitive and cowardly of me, and I apologise for that, especially since I have no possible reason to assume a moral high ground of any kind. I can't unsay the things, and to try would add dishonesty to the list, but I regret the way in which I said them.

Needless to say, I didn't come to this realisation on my own, and I'd also like to thank the friend who brought it home to me.
