So

Comment on the recent series of politics-oriented essays has been mostly favourable, which is nice. Most of the adverse comment has taken place obliquely and in other journals, which makes it easy to ignore.

I debated cut-tagging the pieces, because they were long and boring and political, and perhaps I should have. I'm certainly not going to go back and do it now.

We have been promised a builder to complete the floor tomorrow. If he is not there, and especially if I get another pathetic excuse, the balloon will go up. We just watched a couple on telly put up a conservatory twice the size of ours in eight weeks of weekends, for under five thousand pounds, and while remodelling their bathroom at the same time. I couldn't see any difference between theirs and what ours is supposed to be.

Not a happy Nyrond. Tired of serious posts, and frivolous posts just don't seem worth it.

Given you aren't particuarly a Bear-fan, please accpt a Virtual Kitten. Black and white, with soft paws, and a liking for cuddling people, the soft susurrant purrr will... little by little lull you... into a state of comp l e t e .. .. .. ..

*fingers crossed about the builders*

I admit that I'm not reading your long political posts, but I've been trying to keep track of the conservatory and other things going on in your life; I really wish this would get resolved. *sigh* *hug*
