On this day, seven years ago, it was the day after. One of the wealthiest, most powerful nations in the world had just discovered that it could be hurt. It has been walking wounded ever since, and the wound has not been allowed to heal. The man who seems to have been responsible for this is still apparently at liberty.

To all my American friends, my love and good wishes. May your country be healed soon.

Thank you, we are trying our best, but half of us still seem to be stuck in revenge mode. God, it is so hard to listen to some of the crap that passes as patriotism even now. Lots of talk yesterday about squandered goodwill. Guess some folk are just now figuring it out. Sigh.
