Okay, now we have emergencies

Ickle (our lady cat) has a sore foot. This is going to involve a visit to the vet.

Also, half our guttering has blown down. I found it lying in the garden yesterday evening. Having only fairly recently had our dish fixed because water had got into it from the last time, this is not good news.

Obviously I can't do anything about either of these things till Tuesday now, and I won't know how much either of them is going to cost till I've committed to do them.

And we have no spare money. Which means that when the third shoe drops, whatever that's going to be, we will be really stuffed.

If anyone can help with those things, that would be wonderful. And in the meantime, if you know anyone who hasn't looked at Avevale yet and might be prepared to leave a donation if they like what they see, please tell them about it if you happen to have a moment. We're kind of on the edge here.

Thank you.

Eh. Sorry to hear about things breaking down and your sick cat :-/ Just brought a little something on the way. Sorry it's not more at this point.

But, you know, you left that story about Shelbyoakes on quite a cliffhnger. Dragons were involved, if I remember correctly. :-)

Also, I've been wondering ... if I asked/commissioned you to write a song set in that verse, could you a) do it (I know, silly question, you can turn ANYTHING into a set of brilliant lyrics) and b) what amount of donation would seem adequate for that? I've been meaning to ask you this for literally months.

Thank you!

Do you mean the Sherborne Oaks 'verse or the Dragons 'verse? I'll try either... :)

I'm hopeless at deciding what my stuff is worth. I leave that up to you.

Oh dear. Yes, that's the one *facepalm* (I was really tired last night. ;-) )

Well, if we go by "what it is worth to me" I'll probably never be able to afford it :)
