Bye-bye Christmas
I actively hate taking down Christmas decorations, especially the trees, and if it weren't for the fact that the Countess believes the superstition about having them down by Twelfth Night or the planet will be eaten by a giant mutant star goat I would leave our trees up all year with the lights on, or at least till the weather improves, because they are nice and I like them. Nonetheless, I have now done it, and the corner of the living room and the kitchen windowsill look indescribably drab and cheerless right now.
I am watching Earth Final Conflict episodes one after the other, breaking off every other one to come up here and say hi to the busily writing Countess and all of you out there in Internetland (hi there). NaNoWriHoLoIFuWeTa is stalled again because I'm not sure what to write next. I think I want chocolate.
Heigh ho. I shall be back to my usual ebullient self tomorrow, I have no doubt.
